The lockdown roadmap was announced on 22nd February 2021. The Government provided details on how the restrictions will start to be lifted from 8th March through to the summer.
The roadmap is staged over 4 steps, with the final lockdown ending on 21st June 2021 (at the earliest).
Below is a timeline which details the 4 steps of the lockdown roadmap.
Step 1 Continued
From 29th March 2021, the main announcement is the opening of outdoor sports.

From 12th April 2021, the main announcement is the opening of all retail, hairdressers, nail salons, gyms, outdoor hospitality (beer gardens) and outdoor attractions.

From 17th May 2021, the main announcement is the opening of indoor hospitality and indoor attractions, cinemas, hotels and B&Bs as well as indoor sports.
